Mobile Money Has Ended Cash Era

For centuries, people used cash to make payments and save wealth – cash was king. But a new cashless era, one which Kenya leads, is here. As the most recent Consumer Insight’s Bank Brands Survey found, 92% of people use mobile money, 85% bank from their mobile phones, and 65% prefer mobile money payments. Like magicians, these innovations have made physical notes and coins disappear – for good.
