Hats down for Koffi Annan

A majority of Kenyans now consider the former United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan as their leading role model. This is a rare twist in a country where mother has over the years dominated this top slot, but the work of Kofi, Annan – Chair of the African Eminent persons in conflict resolution seems to have endeared him to many a Kenyan

If you did not know, Mr. Annan brokered a peace deal in Kenya at a time when the country was threatening to slide into anarchy following disputed presidential election results in December 2007.

However, mother is second rated, closely followed by Nelson Mandela, Former South African President and internationally renowned icon of struggle against Apartheid.
