Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks’
consumption: what’s up, what’s down

The consumption of beer plunged by half in 2008 compared to the two previous years! Also going down were most other alcohol types apart from Liqueurs, Rum, and Gin.

On the other hand, bottled water (and to a lesser extent energy drinks) saw an increase in consumption in 2008 – the consumption of all other non-alcoholic cold drinks has fallen or remained the same over the last 3 years.

In which category is consumption generally growing? Stay tuned to Voices.
